ServiceNow

ServiceNow users are notified of changes to selected parameter values for individual services made by CONDUCTOR users in the Command Centre. They can view such changes on their platform, in a similar way that CONDUCTOR users view updates in the Audit Log.

On the ServiceNow page in CONDUCTOR, administrators create a list of the parameters which have been requested by ServiceNow IT managers.

For example: the value of the parameter 'SMS to Chat' in service 'Main Callflow' is changed from 'True' to 'False'. If 'SMS to Chat' is a parameter that has been added to the ServiceNow page, ServiceNow users are notified of the change.

Navigate to the ServiceNow page.

Add a Parameter

  1. Click the Add Parameter button Add Parameter button.

Add a requested parameter

  1. From the Parameter drop-down list, select a requested parameter.
  2. To add the parameter to the list, click the Add Parameter button.
  3. To add more requested parameters, repeat from step 1.

View the Parameter List

On the ServiceNow page, you can view the list of requested parameters that have been added.

Optionally, search for a parameter in the list.

Delete a Parameter

Deleting a requested parameter removes it from the list of requested parameters.

  1. Click the Delete Delete button button next to the parameter you want to delete.
  2. In the popup window, click the Confirm button to confirm the deletion.
