Welcome to the online Help for storm ® FLOW™. The document describes the FLOW graphical user interface and its functions.
Click the Contents link at the top left of this Help system to open or return to the navigation menu at any time. You can also search by keyword. The navigation link at the top right of each page indicates your location in the Help.
The blue icon with a white exclamation mark indicates points that are important for safety or regulatory compliance.
Action cell exit points surrounded by square brackets [ ] means that the exit points are optional.
For security and billing purposes, we impose a maximum call duration of 24 hours. If any call on the platform (inbound or outbound) reaches 24 hours in duration, the call will be terminated.
All features of this software are licensed. Not all users will have access to every feature detailed in this User Guide. Access to certain features depends upon your installation settings, user rights and licensing agreements. Contact your commercial representative for further details.
The recommended screen resolution is 1024x768 pixels or above.
FLOW is accessed via your web browser. The following browsers are supported:
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11
Microsoft Edge (minimum version 20.10240)
Mozilla Firefox (minimum version 60.3 )
Google Chrome (minimum version 69.0.3497)
Note: the interface is tested in the latest versions of these browsers at the point of release. We recommend you use the latest available version and install all critical security updates and patches. If you have a requirement to use the interface in a specific browser version not listed above, please contact your support representative for advice.
FLOW requires Adobe Flash to be installed on your system. We recommend installing the latest version, which can be downloaded from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
Note: Chrome 69 (release 4 September 2018) removes your Flash plugin permissions at the end of each browser session. To prevent this, type chrome://flags/#enable-ephemeral-flash-permission in the Chrome address bar and then disable the Ephemeral Flash Permissions setting. Relaunch Chrome and then, in FLOW, click the padlock icon in the address bar and allow FLASH as shown:
